Follett Higher Education has announced a strategic partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to modernize its IT infrastructure and enhance security. This three-year collaboration will leverage cloud technologies and AI-driven solutions to create a seamless and efficient student

TCS will deploy its MachineFirst™ approach and TCS Cognix™ AI suite to automate processes and build a robust IT management platform. Additionally, the Cloud Exponence platform will optimize cloud resource utilization and management. With a focus on cybersecurity, TCS will enhance Follett’s security posture through its Security Operations Center and security-as-a-service platform.

This partnership marks a significant step forward for Follett, enabling the company to deliver exceptional value to students and institutions alike.

The three-year contract signifies a significant expansion of the existing decade-long partnership between the two companies. Through this agreement, TCS will leverage its signature MachineFirst™ approach, incorporating AI-powered solutions like TCS Cognix™ to automate manual processes and create a robust and secure Enterprise Infrastructure Management platform.

Furthermore, TCS’s Cloud Exponence platform will provide Follett with a comprehensive view of its operations across hybrid cloud environments, optimizing resource utilization and cost management. This initiative aligns with industry-leading ITIL 4 standards, ensuring best practices in IT service management.
